Tercer Término in MoodleMoot

Tercer Término took part in the Moodle Health 2009 event presenting a case study.

On August 13th, 14th and 15th, Moodle Health 2009 took place, as a part of MoodleMoot: First International Congress of Online Education and Free Culture. This event was organized by the argentine office of the Latin American School of Social Sciences (FLACSO) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). The headquarters of FLACSO Argentina was the venue where the conferences and discussion panels that formed this event took place.
The MoodleMoot events are meetings that bring investigators, teachers, users, developers and managers of the Moodle online education platform together. In the case of Moodle Health, the core topics of discussion were three: education, government and health. Tercer Término participated in this event with a case study of a Moodle implementation in the healthcare area: Radiologiavirtual.org. Once this presentation was finished, Marcos Lerche and Mariano Werner (both directors of Tercer Término), had the opportunity to talk with Martn Dougiamas, creator of Moodle, who attended the event as a lecturer and an attentive member of the audience. During this talk, they were able to tell him about Tercer Término’s vast experience with the implementation of the Moodle platform and about the new ways in which our company could continue to cooperate and work together with him in the field of continuous education.
